Working Principle Of Transit Time Ultrasonic Flow Meter:
A transducer probe sends a signal through the pipe wall, the medium, and the opposite side of the pipe wall, and another transducer probe receives the signal. This is the basic idea behind how the Transit Time Ultrasonic Flow Meter operates. The transit and receive signals are delivered simultaneously by the first probe and the second probe, which sends another signal that is received by the first probe. The two transducers have a time difference Δt because of the medium flow rate. The conversion relationship between the flow rate V and the time difference Δt can be found based on the computation. The flow value Q can therefore be found using V=(C2/2L) × Δt.
Precautions For Installation And Use:
Applying ultrasonic gel to the pipe’s surface is necessary while using the transducer; if the gel runs out, it must be refilled. Water leakage is not an issue because the Transit Time Ultrasonic Flow Meter does not come into direct touch with the medium. For the Transit Time Ultrasonic Flow Meter, the transducer’s fitting position and positioning technique are crucial.
