The main working principle of the oval gear flow meter: the pressure difference generated by the liquid entering the oval flow meter, and driven by the pressure difference, the gear inside the oval flow meter starts to move, and a gap is generated between the gear and the cover plate during the rotation. The specific cutting space and the number of gear rotations can indirectly calculate the volume of liquid passing through the oval gear meter.
Oval gear flow meter is mainly used to measure some relatively special media that general electromagnetic or ultrasonic flow meters cannot accurately measure, such as oil that is easy to solidify. If measuring solidified oil, we recommend the user to choose a high temperature oval gear flow meter with a puddle flange.The oval gear flow meter has multiple calibers diameters to choose from. Generally speaking, which style to choose depends on the flow rate of the liquid to be measured and the size of the installed pipe.
