LWGY turbine flow meter is a flow measuring instrument that indirectly calculates the accumulated flow data of liquid flow based on the periodically changing magnetic flux generated when the impeller automatically adjusts the rotational speed to achieve the same speed as the passing water flow. The body of LWGY turbine flow meter is durable polished stainless steel.
LWGY turbine flow meter has an advantage over the electromagnetic flow meter in that it can measure non-conductive liquids. The turbine flow meter is generally installed in a pipe with a smaller pipe diameter. The turbine flow meter is made of stainless steel, and the price advantage is obvious than the magentic flow mete for the small caliber application.
Make sure to routinely clean the inner part of LWGY turbine flow meter when using the LWGY turbine flow meter. Solid contaminants and debris can harm the impeller, which will reduce the LWGY turbine flow meter’s lifespan and measuring accuracy.
LWGY turbine flow meter, in general, is able to measure liquids with two-phase flow and is unaffected by the electromagnetic induction effect of liquids, thus it can detect liquids with variable speed or liquids with changing flow directions.
