Given the unique characteristics of the measuring medium, we can offer a coating  layer material of PTFE or PFA on the wetted part rod of the  the chemical densitometer that comes into contact with the corrosive chemical fluids.

1)Does the flow rate have any effect on the WPX301 chemical density meter?

The flow rate has an impact on the WPX301 oil density meter, so the user should confirm the conditions such as the flow rate in the measuring pipe and the measuring pipe diameter before installation.The user must install the diameter expansion when the flow rate exceeds 1 m/s. The diameter of the pipeline where the density meter is mounted increases by 1.5 times for every 1m increase in flow rate. At the outflow end of the oil density meter, there must be at least a 300mm straight pipe section for the pipe section. This procedure makes that the fluid is moving through the fork in a “laminar state.”

2)What type of liquids can a chemical densitometer measure?

The majority of industrial fluids can be measured using the WPX301 chemical density meter.

Salt water, lake water, tap water, lime water, sodium carbonate, sodium sulfate, even corrosive hydrochloric acid, carbonic acid, etc., as well as carbonated beverages can all be measured using the WPX301.Of course, the WPX301 chemical density meter cannot reliably measure for some extremely viscous liquids, for liquid media with crystallization, and for liquid media with scaling. In general, the WPX301 chemical density meter is appropriate for substances with a viscosity range of less than 2000Cp.
