Electromagnetic flow meter is a process instrument which is based on Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction. It is mainly used to measure the flow of conductive liquids and is an important tool in industrial process control. Although electromagnetic flow meters have certain requirements for conductivity rate, the conductivity limit of electromagnetic flowmeters is usually 0.5-10μS/cm. This means that if the conductivity of the liquid is lower than 0.5μS/cm, the magnetic flow meter will not be able to measure; and if the conductivity of the liquid is higher than 10μS/cm, although it can still be measured, but the measurement result is not accurate !
